A cab ride between Grand Central, Penn Station or Port Authority to The Javits Center can cost anywhere from $8-$15 depending on the traffic.
Different variables such as heavy traffic and tolls should be taken into account in gauging the final cost of your trip as well as total transportation time.
The 7 train now has a stop at 34th street and 11th Ave. From the subway stations, The Javits Center is a short walk.
Please keep in mind that the public transportation fare is $3.00 for a one-way ticket. With MetroCards you can transfer from subway to bus and bus to subway for one fare. MetroCards are available at subway stations and local stores.
The NY Waterway operates a ferry from Weehawken, NJ. In just 8 minutes the ferry takes you across the Hudson River to 39th Street and 12th Avenue, just a hort distance from The Javits Center. During peak hours, the ferry leaves every 10-15 minutes.
We are located on 11th Avenue between 34th and 35th Streets. There are a variety of lots open nearby, ranging from 24-hour, 7-days a week, to more limited service.
